Convenient location for Mooloolaba beach and shops. Interior was slightly older and needed an update however the room was spacious. Lovely views.

The apartment we rented was okay... a little dated however, it was clean and COVID-19 safe. Maybe ALL the "rules" and "signs" (don't 'do' this... don't 'do' that, but 'enjoy your stay') are a bit overdone! A little "off-putting"...
We just love the position ,stay at Windward everytime we visit Mooloolaba the staff are great and very obliging everything we have asked for is no trouble .For us the position of the Windward is spot on .It may not be a brand new appartment block ,but has everything we need. Have recommended Windward to few of our friends See you again soon Jan and Pete Thompson
Apartment 17 was comfortable however badly in need of essential maintenance. Interior lights require attention, balcony door requires repair. Kitchen food preparation area is poorly lit. Wall lights do not operate. Interior lighting needs to be replaced with better updated lighting.
Great location. Great views. Really nice managers. I get the feeling nothing is to much trouble, and they are so relaxed about it.
The location was great, right across from the beach. Pool was adequate and nice that it had a shallow slightly warmer kids pool. Kitchen was fully equipped and there were games and DVDS available too. Cleanliness was poor, we arrived as the cleaner was leaving but found a used bandaid in the lounge. The 2bdr apartment door frame was covered in black mould as was the shower, it needs an extremely good clean and we felt uncomfortable using it but had no choice. The main bedroom door jammed or locked itself and our 8month old was Inside sleeping. There is no lock on the Inside of the door but a key slot outside but the keys didn't work to unlock it so we were very stressed out trying to figure out how to get in. It took 4 of us to finally get it open then it happened again the next day!! There was a live mouse by the pool so we told reception and the man came down and KICKED IT with his foot IN FRONT OF MY 3YR OLD into a wall which killed it then proceeded to kick it into the nearby garden outside our room. My son was up late that night looking out the Window asking if the mouse was there and okay. Incredibly traumatising for him. *Editing to add I am shocked by the harsh tone of the owners reply saying my view of the incident is distorted. I have since emailed the facility requesting them to check their camera footage as I am in fact correct in regards to what happened and do not appreciate being told i am making things up.
Cleaniness was an issue, you only get 2 x toilet rolls for 3 day stay for a family of 5, rooms very outdated. Great location with great views of the ocean. Just needs more love.
FANTASTIC... Lovely and clean, very spacious and the caretakers very nice and helpfully, we will definitely be coming back.
