Fantastic place to stay. Great location and very modern facilities and styling. Rooms serviced every day by very friendly and efficient staff. Would gladly go back for another stay.

Stayed here for a honeymoon, so I asked the staff to prepare a hamper on arrival and the typical rose petal walkway which was amazing and staff couldn't do enough for me. Room was also beautiful and loved the view. The 3 stars come in play due to the bed and bed frame being poor quality, sauna was out of order and the cleanliness of the apartment was also poor. Don't get me started on the toilets. I advised staff on departure and was met with an "ok".
Having booked this accommodation for our friends last weekend in Australia after not being able to go to the Great Barrier Reef. I talked to the receptionist Sue and she was amazing. A true asset. She assured we had an amazing room and was a pleasure to deal with. The room is amazing. The view is amazing. The whole experience has been amazing.
We stayed there before our wedding in 2 bedroom penthouse, and when we walked in first thing we saw was a paddle of water that was coming from a front door because of the storm outside, so we were wiping the floors and trying to stick towels in a gap between the door and the door frame to stop the door banging from the wind. The room is smaller than it looked on the internet or maybe because it was a little dated that's why we had such impression. The bins in the room are tiny and hard to find which is obviously not comfortable. The room is not sound proof at all so we were "enjoying" drunk women yelling at night on the esplanade and kids screaming on our floor. Their satellite tv channels were not numerous so we just watched free to see you my fiance air tv. When we woke up in the morning someone was banging next to our room so we could not sleep in (staff at the reception said it was a cleaner doing their job). Parking allocated to us was weird, we had to park under some metal box, for the amount of money we paid for the room I expected something exquisite and more special. The room is dated, all covered with the scratches, stains, marks, cracks etc. When we told the staff that we were disappointed with our stay on a such special occasion staff turned to us and said bluntly "we can not do anything". I don't recommend, stay elsewhere there are plenty of other hotels on the Sunshine Coast, this one is not worth your money.
The best holiday apartment ever!!!
I stay on the Gold Coast and my friends and I wanted an amazing weekend to ourselves and so, we decided to have one in Sunshine Coast. From the pictures and service over the phone, we were sure Oceans was the right choice. Everything seemed in place when we arrived. The room we had booked had amazing views which was one of the highlights of our trip. However, when it was time to relax, there was no internet. The receptionist, Julia(n) was informed and her response was not professional in anyway. According to her, the internet was complimentary, so there were no guarantees it would work. Bearing in mind that internet was clearly stated as one of the room’s features. She proceeded to say that it was time for her to go home and there was absolutely nothing she could do about it . This was extremely sad especially for me because I couldn’t believe I left GC to come relax only for me to deal with internet unavailability. As if things couldn’t get worse, we experienced so much difficulty navigating the TV to connect to our personal internet. Technology isn’t supposed to be that difficult at all especially when it is for the public. Further complaint was made the next day and to my utmost surprise, Julia didn’t pass on the information regarding the issues we were having to her colleagues. Terrible!!! Anyway, I eventually spoke to the receptionist who was on duty. Sue was exceptional in every way. The internet was not fixed but she made sure she carried us along and she was extremely apologetic when I expressed my concerns. She even proceeded to give us two bottles of wine to make up for the poor experiences we’ve had. My friends and I managed to make the trip worthwhile but then again, for the amount of money that was paid, the least we could have had was a stable working internet and electronic devices that were easy to use. Would I recommend? Yes. However, I feel the services could be better.
When you call “Oceans” you speak with Sue. You immediately know that if you are staying in Mooloolaba you should NEVER stay anywhere else. Nothing is too much trouble for Sue and her delightful, warm and professional phone manner is one to be envied by any other business that has a client’s initial contact by phone.
The apartments are amazing, well-appointed with heaps of space, easy access to facilities and only a stone's throw to the beach. If you want to easy access to Mooloolaba strip, this is very hard to beat.
