Located right across from the beach Just Hooked is a solid fish and chip option in the area. I ordered the traditional fish and chips, crispy batter on the fish and good chips. The menu includes the usual salads, and other seafood options. This local fish and chip store went through a massive renovation and the interior now is super cute. Limited parking out front but there is street parking and also beach parking across the street. There is both indoor and outdoor tables but best thing to do is get takeaway and cross the road to the beach.

Great calamari rings! Probably the best ones we have eaten for ages. Burgers & chips are very good too. The only (big) minus is the girl at the counter. First time, when we ordered a lot of seafood she was nice. The second time when we paid by coins, she was pretty rude and pretending that she doesn’t know anything about the sauce (we got calamari rings and we wanted to order extra sauce). Today the same situation. Good Friday and she was really unhelpful, rude and had an attitude like ‘if you not gonna spend a lot of money, don’t even bother me’. That was quite disappointing and unprofessional behaviour. I’m not sure that we’re going to come back. Don’t get me wrong! The food is great but the behaviour of the counter ‘lady’ made us lose the appetite again. I hope that the management is going to fix it. Btw. The Guys who cook are very friendly and helpful. Place looks very clean. Huge plus for using paper boxes.

Love this shop. I always come here for the fresh, tasty and quality food. Particularly liking the fish tacos right now - got it twice in a week!

Very fresh and delicious seafood. Best crumbed calamari! Friendly staff, always try to make their best even when very busy. Waiting time 20 min max. Small table outside, enjoy your meal and have a will along the beach. Highly recommended.

Many choices of fish types and cooking ie cruubed, grilled etc, chips are nicely cooked and salads are fresh, this is a take away business that is 3 minute walk to the beach, well worth a try.

Pulled in to Just Hooked today to pick up some lunch. Simply brilliant. Fish cocktails were lovely & fresh and the calamari rings were the very best I have ever eaten - thick, tasty & tender. Honestly the BEST. Oh, the chips and potato scallops are pretty good as well. Everything was cooked to perfection. The premises are Immaculately clean and with the prompt cheerful service you couldn’t possibly find anything complain about. We found a picnic table across the road overlooking the bay for the perfect spot for our lunch. We’ll be back to pickup something for lunch or dinner the next time we head over that way.

Great seafood resturant and take away. Very fresh and a wide variety range of seafood options. Highly recommended.
