I want to like Surfside, and many of the drivers are friendly. But the system is SO unreliable. Buses often don’t show up at all. Drivers drive right past people madly hailing them at the correct stop. Just happened to me today. My family members & friends are late to work sometimes due to bus no-shows. And, the fact that you cannot even buy a ticket!! If you don’t happen to have a Go Card, you’re out of luck! And there is almost nowhere to buy go cards on the Gold Coast… Gold Coast needs a better bus system.

Only takes one drivers baditutde to ruin it for the whole company...not to mention how expensive it is for people like myself to pay full fares. I was taught to be courteous and respectful but it seems the older generation seemed to have forgotten that lesson.
Noisy buses. Leave motors running for up to 20 minutes. 65 buses a day at Paradise Point with motors running and drivers smoking at the bus stop. Drivers very rude and basically have no regard to the public. Many complaints but nothing done about them. Upsetting a lot of residents by having motors running for a period of 7 hours a day all up. Not to mention brakes compression and revving noises. Very inconsiderate to the general public. Wish someone would take some action over all the complaints that have been previously ignored and move the stop to a quiet place.
Wish I could give one star.. Some busses don't stop. Others are always late. Some are terrible drivers braking excessively making the drive uncomfortable.
School bus have very serious problems with the drivers harrasing children can't make a complaint to anyone. This company has big problems
Great place to work
I recently caught a Surfside bus with my Assistance Dog Astor Rose and my friend.The bus drivers were polite and helpful and I got to use a go card for the first time.Such a positive experience as I am not used to using public transport.Astor my epilepsy assistance dog loves catching the bus and trams!
The modern buses are very comfortable and I haven't had any problems yet.
