This is our second time there first time with Kids and it was just as good as we remembered it, it has a different feel to any other zoo we have been too much more interactive. You feel like your much closer to the animals. It could probably do with a better layout (easier said than done) and some more signage but those are minor things. It's definitely worth a visit if your anywhere nearby

A great collection of wildlife and a very enjoyable visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the layout of the exhibits. It appears the keepers have gone to great effort to provide adequate enrichment and enclosures for their inhabitants. All the animals seemed to be out and about to see and quite comfortable. A highlight was definitely seeing the snow leopard. Such a beautiful creature!

Driving 3 hours to spend 90 and only 1.5 hours here didn't quite make for a family holiday. Positives : 1. Dine and discover voucher accepted here. They use same rates as available on the website, you just need to line up in person and use your vouchers/pay the remaining balance upon entry 2. Feeding the deer is only 3 a bag of pellets and a great activity for kids and grown-growns alike. 3. Plenty of parking Negs: 1. Small private zoo so the enclosures feel very small and the animals were not very active. 2. Small walkways that are uneven pavers in some area so not really pram friendly. 3. Exorbitant 'cafe' selling over salted chips, burgers etc - think of a concert or sporting arena type food and cost. 4. Not much seating available 5. Due to Covid-19 they still were not having keeper talks My advice would be to drive to the bay and grab some food or even back into Mogo Village (though the cafes and food were pretty limited there too) Make a day of it and do the zoo then a picnic in the Botanic gardens close by. Canberra zoo is a much better place in my opinion but it was worthwhile to go along and inject some tourism and funds into a town that really struggled after the bushfires of 2020

Simply WOW. One of the best experiences I ever had in a wild life park. Able to watch wild animals so close. All looked healthy, very active and never had this experience in major zoos. When we visited, The zoo was bit crowded may be due to holiday season but the animal enclosure were wide open and had unobstructed views. The relaxing places and cafeteria are well spread and very friendly staff members. Overall had great experience

A decent place for a half day visit with kids. The team here has done an amazing job to accommodate all the animals within the limited space they have. Kids will enjoying seeing the monkeys and feeding Giraffes.

I always find private zoos a bit of a challenge and this one is no different. I don't really like seeing the animals caged the way they are. Any way ... Lots of monkeys and tigers, giraffe and a rhino. The place is in pretty good repair and the staff are friendly and helpful. Not cheap. Don't go on a hot day as it's, well, hot. Some parking close and some out in a field. Unfortunately the path through the zoo is out and return not a loop. They really should fix that. Only went because the grandkids went. They enjoyed it I think.

Enjoyed giraffe feeding. The entrance was very congested and it was not pram friendly. Although we had a baby carrier, the pathway is so narrow /up and down type, so it was not so easy carrying a baby and walking. But other side(looked like newly extended portion) of the zoo was very good, spacious enough to walk with baby and pram. Giraffes feeding is something not to be missed. Food restaurant - taste was good but we waited for 40 minutes for a chips and burger. This was on a less crowded day.

This is a small but very well thought out zoo about 3.5 hours drive from Sydney. It’s a zoo where locals would go to see animals that are not native to Australia. It has large and big primates but no reptiles or marsupials. Since it’s smallish in size, one can walk around it at a leisurely pace and yet finish seeing all the animals in about 2 hours or so. There’s enough parking, food options and amenities to take care of the basic necessities. We had a very good time here.
