I found Leaders through another site's recommendation and they were immediately great - responsive from the first email. They couldn't fit me in for a local move on my desired date but could do it very shortly after. Originally the move was scheduled for the PM, but I got a call at 9:20am to say they were on their way (this was fine because I was able to work from home - and the early move actually meant I could go into the office for the afternoon). The move was super fast, the movers polite and careful, and the whole experience was A. Can happily recommend.

The team were fantastic to deal with and took the extra time to ensure my furniture was delivered in pristine condition. I organised an interstate delivery along with a local delivery and both removals were delivered to my home together with no issues at all. Very happy dealing with Leader Removals and I’ll happily use them again for all my storage and removal needs
Had a small move, one bedroom about 600 max. Accepted their quote and then sent a 100 deposit. Emailed one query in December, no response. Then in early January I emailed again to note changes in my moving amount. They replied I had not accepted the offer. I replied I had. They again said I had not. I provided proof of this and the deposit, they then apologised but no confirmation about my moving details or date. Called them and they were very helpful and said their driver would call me early the moving week to confirm the exact date. I was not called even though it’s two days before. Decided to cancel the service and use my car. They won’t refund the deposit which I guess is part of their conditions but still am a bit disappointed given the great reviews here.
I booked my move through CBD movers and it was a terrible experience. I called Leader Removals to ask for help and they were very understanding and helpful. They also quoted my a much cheaper price than what I paid CBD. I highly recommend you use this legitimate and responsible moving service.
We sought a number of quotes for relocating items from Canberra to Melbourne and Leader removals was one of the most competitively priced. Removalists at both ends were quick and efficient and staff kept us informed of pick up and drop off times. No items were lost or damaged and all boxes were labelled by Leader removals. Turn around time was less than a week. Very happy with the service received and would highly recommend this company.
I have given 3 stars, the actual removalists, Oscar and Robbie, were amazing, and my initial quote was appr 1, 480 it actually turned out to be 980 for an inventory and 300 for storage (1280), which was also amazing. When I needed my furniture taken out of storage, less than 3 weeks later and transported 166 klms away, the price was over 2,000 after a discount for not using the storage for long. I was stunned and said so at the time, but they had my furntiture so I had no choice. I was very surprised as a friend recently had the same service with another carrier and it cost her 945. I do appreciate that my items were sent the same week, which I was grateful for. I could not attend the delivery, but the driver and I spoke twice. I asked for all heavy items and all boxes to come into the house. I even left lists on each door. Unfortunatley, most of the items are still in the garage, even really heavy ones. I am over 61 and live alone and cannot bring the items in, so now I have to hire someone to come and help me take everything inside. I would possibly use them again, but next time would get a relocation quote in advance and make sure that my things were put in the house, not left in the garage. Thank you for the jobs you did well.
I was put on to Fran & Andrew at Leader Removals by my sister who had a very positive experience with them when relocating from Canberra to the Gold Coast. I had purchased a brand new fridge online from a supplier in Queensland and due to the Covid pandemic, the supplier was unable to deliver from Queensland to Melbourne. Enter Leader Removals- even though only a single item, they were able to collect the fridge and store it in their warehouse in Canberra for me, until such time as it was safe and practical to deliver down to Melbourne. From the first contact, Fran and Andrew were very helpful and their communication was great during co-ordination of pick-ups and deliveries. I would have no hesitation in recommending Leader Removals for either a major move, as was my sister's, or a small transportation job, as was mine, and will absolutely call them straight away if ever we have need for this type of service again. Efficient, professional, friendly, dependable-you really feel looked after, and all delivered with a sense of humour (thanks Andrew!) In summary, it was indeed very refreshing to work with a company that is family owned and operated, so personable and customer focussed- yay for small businesses and the little guy! (And no, I'm not a relative, giving such a glowing review- it is all genuine!!) Sharon W
