I'm reviewing Kone lifts based on my experience as a thrid party vendor for a direct client of Kone Lifts Canberra that have installed brand new lifts. Their communication is terrible; they rarely respond to calls or emails, even direct to your rep/installer. After several leaving messages or emails over one or two weeks you might finally get hold of them, it's pathetic. The service team (even the Service Manager) don't even know what products are installed in their own lifts. They don't even know what the word 'firmware' means and had to research it. They have no actual understanding of what they're doing with the tech inside their lifts, even though they provide it, install it and work on it. The service person showed me a photo on his phone, of the instructions that he follows to program the internal tech, it was a picture of a handwritten sheet of paper, and he literally said to me "I have no idea what it does, I just follow this." The service staff kept trying to blame the new "computerised" GSM phone dialler (that I had installed) for the problems, even though the product I installed is actually used as OEM by Kone. Told me I should just use a normal phone line, well that's not going to work with NBN. After hours troubleshooting my end (because the Kone lift person was sure it a problem with the GSM dialler) with no problems, I finally made a call to the third party vendor. The vendor had a chat with the Kone lift service person and told them what they had done wrong; Kone had wired up their devices the wrong way. Five minutes later it's fixed - total waste of my time and not even an apology from Kone. They're arrogant, rude and ignorant of their own products.

For some reason Kone now look after out lifts in Tuggeranong, and now they don't work. All i want is not to walk 5 levels, please fix the lifts. the lifts have been off for days and i cant get any answers from the manager. this is terrible service and i pay good rent. Please get some one to fix them
5 stars because driver not writing google reviews while driving
One star because driver neglected to adjust speed from 80 to posted speed limit of 60km/hr on Northborne Ave
