Dollar blinds were very reasonable and went the full distance to make sure I was happy with the blinds performance. The fit was readjusted to achieve the best thermal, aesthetic and light blocking ability possible. The product, skill and workmanship was spot on. I am pleased to recommend them

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced curtains and blinds. Free measure and quote like most places. Now to wait for our order and instillation. A few errors on our initial order but all rectified without any drama.

We had DCB Mitchell install curtains into our solid brick house (a fact that incurred an extra cost). I had just taken them down - the curtain and track to repaint the room and found, out of 5 available fixings, only 2 were "fixed" appropriately into the wall ... however, 2 of the fixings where fixed directly into the cornice (that's a gyprock product) with metal thread screws, and the remaining fixing point was into the edge of the quad resulting in it splitting (also with metal thread screws). WOW. It has just taken me 2.5 hours to fix (set up, pack up, clean up, drilling into solid/rendered wall, trip to the "big shed" to get wall plugs and quad, patch the cornice, replace the split quad). My qualification to comment on this ... 40 years as a tradie, so my call out fee 110.00, 110.00/hour (rounded up to the next hour), consumables 52.00, lost productivity in painting the room 330.00, (no on cost for the sausage sandwich at the big shed) total cost 822.00 gst. An apology is fine, but let's put the "money where your mouth is" so to say, and I would be happy to take a personal cheque of compensation for the 822.00 gst, thanks.
