After 2019's summer of very few days when it was possible to run the evaporative cooling (due to dust and smoke), my system failed to work when I started it up again. I reported the error code to Climatrol and a day later, Ben came out to trouble shoot and fixed the problem after investigating thoroughly. Great service.

I've had Climatrol come and install a Reverse Cycle Ducted system into my new home and have since had them service the ducted system and install another split system into my garage/gym. We highly recommend Climatrol as they have been pleasant to deal with, knowledgeable and prompt with their service.
We have a somewhat difficult flat roof house, and the team at Climatrol were fantastic in finding the right heating and cooling solution. There communication was impeccable with regular updates regarding installation and support. Highly recommended.
We've had a very positive experience with Climatrol. In contrast with competitors, they did a site inspection and provided a range of reverse cycle air conditioning options for our house, each engineered to meet our needs and to overcome issues with our old ducted system. On selecting an option, they walked through the quote in detail, providing additional information as required, and accommodating changes as required. The lead installer was courteous, attentive to detail, took care to minimise disruption to the household during the process and was happy to demonstrate the system on completion. He addressed all our queries, and maintained a high standard of work. The resultant system is well suited to our house.
I am glad that others seem to have had a positive experience with Climatrol, because we have not and will never recommend them to our many friends in Canberra. We paid an exorbitant amount for a pre-season check up on our split system but when the hot spell hit the system would not cool. We asked for a second technician to come who said that the refrigerant is low and that should have been detected on the first visit - the nothing. No immediate return to fix the problem (which I suspect was caused by the first technician) and we sweltered over Christmas with a new-born baby in the house, despite many phone calls and message attempts. Christmas and New Year have come and gone and the best they can say is, if we want it fixed soon get someone else. So we have, and will never do business with Climatrol again.
I bought an air-conditioning system from Climatrol and it ate my whole family. Even my pet giraffe. But it heats and cools so well that, on balance, I still feel I should give them five stars. Never liked that giraffe anyway.
