So this is sophisticated contemporary Mexican? Love it I tried a contemporary grilled chicken dish with a delicious salad. My wife went for the more traditional meal - nachos. Each was full of flavor. I also just loved the look of my dish. The staff were helpful and the vibe of the place was modern. Five stars.

Tacos were top star. Pork and brisket our favourites and so delicious. Chicken tacos was a bit dry/dense but not too bad. Corn lollipops were delicious. Guacamole was amazing but I didnt like the plantain chips it came with. I will special request corn chips next time. A bit of a slow start being waited on, but we were in and out in 1 hour 15 mins. Will come again because food and drinks were delicious.
Great fusion Mexican food with fresh classic flavours and delicious cocktails. The food and drinks here reminded me of California's Mexican food culture with classic dishes from nachos, burritos and quesadillas through to empanadas. A unique experience from here is that your guacamole is made to order, right at the table, using fresh ingredients. Recommended for those looking for a tasting menu, smaller to medium groups looking to share or order small plates of food, although a bit on the pricey side.
Really great modern twist on traditional Mexican food. Nice atmosphere and endless varieties of tequila!
Mejico was a really nice restaurant and bar that is being closed next week! Be quick to book and have some grilled Halloumi with some guacamole! Great food at respectable prices and the service is always there but maybe abit to over the top with how they try force food onto you..
I was nervous to eat Mejico in Miranda, given how much I love the Syd CBD restaurant and didn't want to be disappointed. But I have to say WOW! Mejico Miranda was absolutely spot on. The guacamole was the best I've ever had in Sydney and reminded me of the fresh guacamole from Cabo, Mexico. The margaritas were super tasty (I recommend the Mezcal Margarita if you like a bit of a kick or their signature classic for an old goodie). The tuna tostadas and corn lollipops are another of the Mejico signature dishes that are absolutely to die for!! The service was exceptional and our waitress was so lovely and super helpful. Will definitely be back soon!!
