Headed out on a perf at morning. It was just over am hour before our first drop, the fish weren't biting to start but after a couple more moves the fish were on the bite. Every one caught something during the day with a couple of lucky people getting 2 or 3 nice fish. Great crew, all very helpful and there to help you make the most your day.

Incredible experience and a friendly, knowledgeable crew. Our morning was 'active' with a number of whales breaching - close by and further in the distance - and a mama and baby. My children LOVED it, as did I. Highly recommend, thank you for a great morning.

If fishing shoulder to shoulder one side of the boat with 20 other fishermen, constantly getting lines tangled and more time travelling to fishing spots than actual fishing time is your thing, then this is for you. No issues with boat or crew but the overcrowding really does not make for a pleasant fishing experience.

(2015) Couldn't see any whales in mid November, and the 4 hour journey was cut down to 3 because of the strong wind, but they promised a free trip next year so can't give any true rating until then. The boat is a rather big one, I happened to survive from being sea-sicked but a middle aged bloke started vomiting after an hour at sea. I check from my GPS record that the boat had been travelling around waters at the north side of Rottnest Island but I have no idea whether it is their normal course. (2016) I went again this year in mid October, a free trip as promised. They sent me an email and asked me if I had given them a 1 star comment but I forgot about it and said no. So sorry about that. We did see the whales this time, all three of them, and our boat kept following them for more than an hour or so, I was rather disappointed that we were not close enough, though I understand that we should not disturb the whales' daily life. It's certainly a life experience that one must see.

Used Mills Charters several times now. They know their stuff and go far above and beyond with their service. The crew are professional at what they do but keep it personal to the customer making everyone feel right at home. Nothing is too much trouble. Great service guys.

After a busy year I was happy to get out on the ocean for a day of fishing, from the minute I stepped onto the boat the crew were friendly and knowledgeable. These guys are experienced fishing charter operators and understand the importance of customer service. From the safety talk all the way through to the whole fishing experience I felt relaxed and really enjoyed my day. Walking off the boat with my fish was awesome. Thank You Mills Charters and your crew. See you again soon.
