Great place for a quick bite. Been a couple of times for lunch and dinner and all food was delicious. We always order a couple of starters and a main of noodles or rice with lots of seafood. Food is always very fresh, tasty and well presented. My only suggestion is that the outside tables be arranged for stability. Being on uneven ground makes tables wobble and very annoying.

Firstly customer service was average, no greeting coming in, not one person working was happy or helpful when taking orders. Wife asked to substitute pork for chicken on a particular order due to son not eatting pork and chef refused and said, "choose a different dish". Not many dishes to choose from for children. Not good hospitality. Definitely not returning.

Fukutontei ramen had some of the best service and Japanese food in all of Melbourne. The Plenty Valley staff are some of the most friendly and hard working staff you will ever see in hospitality. Fukutontei offers reservation and has incredibly clean table service. Food is unbelievably good, with different ramen options and sides available you will be salivating just looking at the menu. I highly recommend to anyone looking for the best Japan can offer.

Food is great but service not so. Should have informed the customer how long it would take for the food to get ready if they are busy. Not when after placing the order (for takeaway) or when start to place order at counter (for dine-in).

I dont like giving bad reviews but i say it how it is. The ramen at this place was tasteless the broth was like water and the noodles tasted like pasta is was very flavourless. On the plus side the staff were kind. I dont recommend visiting this place for ramen, their other menu items may be worth a try.

Loved this place. The selections on the menu are mouth watering which makes it so hard to choose what you want to order. Very friendly staff and the cost is well priced. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The worst customer service in all of my lifetime! We walked to order but walked straight out due to the horrible service and how cold are the waitresses! Stay away. If owner you read this, please get rid of your staff and hire new ones to keep your business strong.

First time customer here. Experienced poor customer service. I accidentally spilled some water. When I ask for another cup of water and some tissues, one of the waitress tone and look she gave me is unacceptable. Hence I only give a rating of 2 out of 5 out of respect for the food there.
