Completely over priced and rude staff. Was looking my air conditioning looked at on my ute, so i rang Bruce and he said bring it round. He rang me two days later and said he’s had to replace the whole unit which is about 200. Picked up today with a bill for over 700, I demanded to see the parts receipt and he said he didn’t have it. Tell you one thing I’d rather sweat in my next car than use this business again.

Good value good service
I recently had problems with my thermostat gauge not working all the time in my 120 series prado. The problem was not able to be fixed without replacing all the gauges. Bruce gave me the advice and option to install an after market gauge instead at a much reduced price compared to replacing the dash cluster. It works great and looks good to. The price was less than I expected and all the work was completed on the same day. Thank you Bruce and the miles auto electrical team. I’ll be recommending you to my friends and work mates. I’m looking at buying some spot lights so I’ll be booking in again soon. Cheers

Fixed an electrical issue with my coaster bus and found and replaced a dodgy headlight I didn’t even know had blown. Great service
I went to Miles Auto Electrical to get some work done. The reception area looked like a dog's breakfast, there was an alternator on the front counter and it was really dusty. The guy who greeted me was callous and rude, he seemed disinterested. He did the work, which I timed, took just over half an hour, but he charged me 80 dollars for some soldering, total rip off. A day later, the issue came back, so I went back and I told him about it. He said he'd have to look into it further, the next day, because he was busy, but it wasn't under a guarantee from the work he did originally, so he couldn't guarantee he wouldn't charge me more. The place also has signs that say they will keep your car if you don't pay and all damage is at the owner's risk. Obviously they don't care for their customers, their customer service is atrocious, typical Mackay auto worker crap, they have a monopoly so they do what they want. You're better off going to another place. Absolute rip off.
good old school service, our alternator gave up whilst on holiday, these guys managed to fix it on the the day, thanks heaps!
