Great staff, great donation centre. Everyone is always very relaxed, friendly and professional.
Consistently have to wait 30 mins before I am taken through. Staff are always pleasant but it is such an inefficient process and a waste of my time.
Certainly a very different experience to my blood donations of 18 years ago (in Perth city), where it was super easy to get registered to give blood. However I was not impressed once at that time where the nurse was not overly gentle and not very attentive. However at Midland just recently I found it was very different. Although the young female receptionist was not that friendly (seemed a bit bored) but all the other staff involved in the donations were really great and friendly and professional. Registering was lengthy, tedious and extremely repetitive (as if many donors are very low IQ) even though I had been registered before but was no longer in the system after that many years. But I suppose they have to be like that these days due to the multitude of drugs and bad behavior and diseases etc. I certainly would recommend Midland Centre to any prospective donor.
Absolutely amazing nurses and staff! I had a minor ill episode after my donation and the care and professionalism was wonderful. Could not recommend this centre enough!
I came today between 3.30pm to 4pm with a friend who is a blood donor. I offered tobe her chauffer.. Nurses were wonderful and professional to.my ftiend. I myself was in the process of re registering as a donor. Since the lady at the reception seem to have a poor customer service not friendly at all. That made me feel why bother..
The staff here really are worth a mention. All are lovely & so caring. Easy to make an appointment & you're never left waiting. A pleasure to support such an important cause.
