Marnong Estate treated us very well. Food was excellent and accompanied by an amazing view. We were lucky enough to get stay overnight in the cabins. They are brand new, very luxurious and again, the view is crazy. The staff at Marnong are very friendly and will bend over backwards to ensure you have a great experience. Have recommended a stay at the estate to our friends and will be booking in my parents for their anniversary.

Just had a lovely three course meal. The lamb was delicious. Your waiter Sam was informative and lovely. A nice shiraz, I would recommend to friends. Very nice for a date night.

What a Saturday to sit and relax. Wine tasting (9 different types of wine) for 10 (love the white) and then sitting on the lawn to look at alpacas. Very busy today (Saturday) and was told if you would dine at the restaurant, booking might be necessary to get a table. Good day to be away from the city but short drive

Our family had a great time staying at the cabins and found the accomodation quite luxurious. Staff at the estate was warm & welcoming with food to match the experience. New menu has a good variety and my wife really enjoyed the pork belly, while I found the scotch fillet to be exceptional. We can’t recommend Marnong Estate enough and can’t wait to be back to enjoy those beautiful views.

Stunning views and great wine. We had the 55 two course meal with a glass of Shiraz. Very impressed with the portions and the steak was cooked to perfection. Marnong Estate has exceeded my expectations. Very underrated winery and I would rate them a lot higher than most of the wineries in Yarra Valley.

Is it me or has the quality and service gone significantly downhill? The majority of recent comments would suggest this is the case. Service - When I called to enquire the guy answering the phone had an attitude. Almost as if he couldn’t be bothered answering my questions. When I arrived on site, I am pretty sure it was the same person who served me. Didn’t say hello, didn’t check on us from time to time to see if we needed anything or if the food was ok. Could have at least asked if we needed table water. Came across as unfriendly. If this is the same person everyone seems to be mentioning in their reviews. I think it is time Marnong let him go. Food - This is what concerns me even more. I had dined at Marnong on a number of occasions pre COVID and I always remembered the food being quality - even the pizza. The pizza was absolutely horrible and it was extremely thick - it’s like they layered two inches of poor quality tasty cheese on top. Also the base was quite thick as well. We also had Beef Ribs which were tough and tasted old, along with Arancini balls that seemed like they had been reheated repeatedly. We actually dined in the atrium this time around and so it made me wonder if the Atrium is serving poor quality pub level food and the quality items are served to customers in the main restaurant. Regardless, food was horrible. Interestingly I have dined at the outdoor cafe during the day recently and the food seemed really good then. Don’t get me wrong, the venue and surroundings are beautiful - but the food I would only rate 0.5 a star. To the staff at the Atrium - please lift your game. It is the customers that pay your wage (or maybe it’s Jobkeeper). Also, don’t come across as snobbish - it’s not like you are working in some high end dining establishment in Toorak or South Yarra.

Checked out this nice winery which is less than 10 min drive away. From online booking to email confirmation and phone call time amendment, everything went on well without any drama. I would rate the setting for the whole place is definitely above the average standard. We had booked our lunch session at the Atrium and enjoyed the bright and spacious indoor setup. Not much food options for the Bistro but we were happy with our food selection. They were delicious and the staff service were great. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone who enjoy spacious dining setup.

Nice place but doesn’t look like they cater for smokers no signs won’t go back for that reason only, but food is nice service is ordinary.
