Went in once to ask what congas they had. Grumpy old man was having none of me. I have no idea how anyone has received friendly service from this man as the other reviews suggest because he made me want to never spend my money here. Friends have had the same grumpy old man experience.

Had some basic pick up replacements, very well priced & normally turns over pretty quickly. Clearly a knowledge operator...will continue to use the business for all my guitar mods.

Mr Lewis is extremely friendly and his knowledge of the music industry is second to none. I left my Rickenbacker with him to take a slight bow out of the neck and he has done a great job. and his charges are extremely reasonable. Other music shops pale in comparison. if you have an issue with your musical instrument then see Mr Lewis - he will sort the problem out for you..Lovely chap

I was treated like a little woman with no brain. I brought him my concertina to have a service. When I went in, I was scoffed at for even having such an apparently low-rate version. He proceeded to tell me where it was from and pointed to the plaque clearly visible on the instrument itself, saying, "See? East Germany." Yes. Thank you. I saw that. He then put it down and asked me what I intended him to do with it... I asked him for a service and a tune. He told me it was not worth it. I insisted and he then told me it would cost all of 80 (ah..not worth it?!) Three weeks later, when collecting it, his sexism continued. He scoffed AGAIN, when he realized what instrument I came to collect. His exact words were, "Oh, THAT thing." I asked if he had a case for sale. When he said he didn't, I said I'd just get it from the internet, then. "Oh, you won't find anything on there", he said. I explained that there were many hexagonal concertina bags and cases available online, a suggestion he dismissed. Then, as I walked out, said, "You just have to learn how to play it, now", just assuming I couldn't. Sexism is rife, but the accordion is tuned. Thanks for that.
