A close second to the worst fish and chips we've ever had. Some things were raw on the inside and everything had an odd taste. Assume it's something to do with the oil it was all cooked in.
Seafood items in the ‘basket’ were nice, and the battered fish was a generously thick, large fillet (but had a slightly weird texture). Huge serve of chips for a solo diner - maybe 3x what you’d get elsewhere, but unnecessarily so (hate wasting food & it’s not like you can save chips for later). Arrived on time.
Finally, I’ve found the perfect Fish & Chips.... I am really hard to please, but when I’m impressed by the food I receive I will shout it out from the rooftops about how good it is and where I got it from. Case in point - Shark Shack. These guys serve fantastic food. Their fish is nice and fresh and their serving sizes are absolutely massive! I could feed myself and my two toddlers with one serve of fish and chips. These guys are doing it right and they’re taking the right approach. These businesses that think by charging more and serving less they are actually doing themselves a favour and dead wrong! I will be a long-term customer.. thanks to the team at Shark Shack!!
I've ordered delivery from this place 20 times and it has always been amazingly consistent with quick delivery times, producing fresh hot food & portion size. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my fish & chips!!!
Always great place for fish and chips (order here all the time) but service has gotten worse. Waited over 20 minutes in the shop after ordering 15 minutes prior to this. Everyone after me got their food which I found strange and after 10 minutes one of the girls asked my name and then after another 10 minutes someone asks again and finally found my order which was waiting for the last 15 minutes (as they called out a number which no one had given me, while my name was written on the ticket). Got my order and the fish was dry and the chips had no salt even though I asked for chicken salt and that was written on the ticket. Will try them again as I hope this was a one off.
Best Fish and chips out, will never go disappointed! Service always excellent, massive portion sizes and a large variety of choices on the menu. By far the best in the area
