Absolutely stunning food! Culinary genius!! The food is fresh and authentic, with sauces which are so moreish you want to bottle them up to use at home. We will be back with a group of friends in no time, this is a place I don't want to keep a secret because everyone should taste this food!

Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in a long time. The staff and chefs were friendly and attentive. Their drinks menu included a nice variety of Japanese alcohols. The restaurant had a warm, cozy feel to it. I was able to just walk in but I’d recommend booking a table in advance if planning on dining more than two people. My Agedashi Cheese was surprising light but full of flavour. The Chicken Katsu Don ticked all the right boxes and came with more rice than I realised. I will definitely be back in the future, and next time I’ll come properly prepared with an emptier stomach!
I go to Hachi for many many years and I can say: if you are looking after for a Japanese place in Mermaid Beach/Miami area do not look any further. Nan San is like a Ninja in the kitchen! Itadakimasuuu!!!
We returned here Sunday evening after a 18-month absence and it's not the same place. Service was nonexistent, other than delivering food there was no table service, some mains were delivered prior to entree's, some dishes were good, others were average at best. With the quality of Japanese restaurants on the GC, this one's not up to par.

Amazing authentic Japanese restaurant. The sashimi platter was delicious and generous in size. Okinomiyaki was on par with the okinomiyaki I have had in Japan. Delicious. We will absolutely be back. Thank you !
Loved the food here, very well priced and hot, fresh and delicious. Add the relaxed easy going atmosphere with friendly service and we'll be making this place a regular for dining out.
