Meltdown Artisan have been absolutely fantastic, responsive to e-mails and have assisted in fixing an issue with delivery caused by Australia Post. Items are shipped in thermal packaging and are wrapped in thermal packaging. Delicious takes on traditional chocolate classic flavour combos as well as creative new flavours I haven't seen anywhere else.
Not only did my chocolates arrive very quickly and in pristine condition (having been sent across the country in the height of summer), they were obviously made with so much love and craftsmanship. I ordered the two different kinds of bonbons; they're works of art! The chocolates are a gift, so haven't yet sampled one, however they look and smell divine. It's also wonderful to know that they're made by a small business, and that the ingredients are ethically sourced. Highly reccomend and will be reordering asap! P.S. If you're nervous about the travel in summer as I was, I recommend checking out the "summer postage" section of the highlight reel of their Instagram. It definitely put my mind at ease.
I have purchased "Face Bark" from Meltdown artisan twice now and am about to make another order. The product is a perfect option for a birthday present or just a fun gift in general. The product comes packages nicely and includes icepacks to combat the aussie summer weather, i live 2 hours away from the store and my second order was sent in 37 degree weather. The product is high quality and worth the money.
WARNING READ WEBSITE BEFORE GETTING DELIVERY They will tell you they take no responsibility for damaged packages and you have to go through aus post. This would be good if the packaging was up to standard but it’s not. I received a very small ice pack with my order, not enough to keep my chocolate cool, it was melted on arrival, aus post almost refused to give me a refund because the packaging wasn’t good enough, I had to be pushy. I do not recommend getting delivery from this website.

Jen has created a beautiful little space and some truly incredible products here at Meltdown Artisan. I've tried several of her chocolate varieties, all of them absolutely delicious and something really special and different, but I was especially impressed by the vegan range - the texture, aftertaste, and above all the flavours are fantastic. This shop is a real hidden gem of Darlinghurst, and a must-visit for all those with a sweet tooth and an adventurous palate!
