A few months ago we booked a guest list for a birthday party, but when we turned up we were looked up and down and told it was a 'private party' even though we had booked the party there. Most of us were females but we then watched very scantily dressed females get let it without being asked the same questions! Perhaps we weren't showing enough skin ... funnily enough the same thing happened last night! It reminded me to leave a review. We won't bother with this place again.
I have been leaving in Melbourne for 7 years and yo-yo had always been discriminated peoples of colors with the typical excuse " do you have a guest list ? " I went there to support my DJ friends who were mixing during the night. The bouncers were extremely rude. 30 second after 2 Asian get in with out been asking any guest list. Don't go there if you're a person of colour, not a hot girl or whatever beauty criteria they do have. Loving black culture but you don't accept their peoples Sad .
YoYo is definitely the place to be on a Saturday! I always feel welcome and at home when I party here. If you’re into the latest hip hop hits or even dancehall and afrobeats, then I would definitely recommend this club. Gals can even party with sneakers on which is A if you ask me.
