Has a great deal of listings but no protection for consumer. Retreats will ask you to pay them directly via bank deposit . Booking doenst ask for guests names but won't let you buy booking as an gift for anyone else unless you use their name for billing??? protects retreat more than consumers in the one issue we had.

Do not use them. Always use Airbnb or a site that holds the money on behalf of the customer. I booked via them for Banjara retreats and paid 1000 dollars then due to my fiance being sick I didn't want risk the health of others I asked them what will happen if we cancel of if I can give it to my parents or friends. They were unable to help us when the owner of Banjara retreats without our consent cancelled and relisted our booking and also said we can't just gift the stay ! There is nothing in the contract (there was bascially no contract ) that says the billing name has to be there ! They won't give us the contact details of Banjara retreats neither only an email to which Banjara has not replied to. This website WONT give you the same protection as Airbnb or other sites. Beware , the retreat owners will ask you to pay via bank deposit not even credit card or PayPal. No protection for the consumer at all. EDIT RESPONSE TO OWNERS RESPONSE: WE ASKED THEM WHAT ARE OUR OPTIONS if we CANT COME DOWN. THE OWNER THEN CANCELLED OUR BOOKING. WE HAVE EMAILED saying that if we cant GIFT this booking to someone else, then happy to come down on the SATURDAY With a friend. (in the booking we only put one name down for booking, did not put the other guests name down). HOWEVER our booking was cancelled IMMEDIATELY without our consent. CHECKIN TIME IS NOT 3pm. IT IS ANYTIME AFTER 3pm as per the email from the HOST. We said we wanted to leave a one star review AFTER the owner refused to respond to all our emails and till date never contacted us. Please get your facts straight. There was no false threats, except reasonable claims that since they won't respond to us we will have to make a claim via fair trading. It was not rude, it was a desperate action to get them to respond, instead of posting our accommodation as cancelled all over their social media. .
