Got scammed here once. They showed you good exchange rate, but when you have your money, they would charge you sky high Commission which they never mention. Avoid this place at all cost!

Don't waste your time with this company. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. I ordered a foreign currency order for 600au from the Travelex website direct, only to receive a phone call the next day to say they have had a system failure and would be unable to process my order. It took 3 calls to the customer service line which were all over 40 minutes long to gain direction to go to the post office. It then took a further two trips to the post office, both over 1.5hrs long. To further infuriate the situation, I was turned away, told I needed to print an email (stupidest thing Ive ever heard) and sign a statutory declaration before I could receive my refund. Then I was given a cash refund from the post office of the full amount- now I have annoying cash lying around. This system failure cost me hours of fussing on the phone, screwing with the printer at a public library and in person with my local post office. The customer service line at Travelex was horrible to talk to. He spoke vaguely, had nothing unhelpful to say, and was outwardly insulting towards the matter. My concerns were met with indifference and audible laughter (several times). He was also horrible towards the post office workers. I urge you to boycott Travelex as they clearly have no regard for information security, customer service or decency. I hate them. Never will I go near them again. Untrustworthy, slimy and backwards.
Extremely unprofessional and appalling customer service. The man who staffs this office is very incompetent and rude. Strongly advise anyone against using Travelex.

If I could give a rating of 0, I would for this company. I called in to ask of the exchange rate for two foreign currencies. The rude indian woman on the other line gave me the exchange for one currency but was talking over me when I asked her a question and then when I asked her for the second currency sell rate she hung up on the phone. The phone is still on hung. Just to note, I have called 3 other foreign exchange companies in Melbourne CBD prior to this and they have been very helpful. Their sell rate she stated was the lowest, the other places had a better rate.
Poor service. No greetings, no reaction from the guy on the counter, did not even ask what I wanted to do. Remitance paper was not given immediately. The guy just stared at me after I said I want to send money for a minuete or two until I prompted him for the small paper I needed to fill up.
Awful customer service. Only one other person in the store and it still took over 10 minutes just to collect an online order.
