The kids absolutely love it here! As soon as we get close they ask "Mom, are we going to the Children's Garden? Please.." My husband and i can relax while they play. The only thing I'd say is that you do need to be careful around the ponds as they aren't fenced, but otherwise an amazing place for children to play and discover!

A 5 star international quality botanical garden with excellent facilities. Down to earth atmosphere, lakes, trails, children's garden, famous "tan" running track.

Great but they turned off water play system too early, like 2 hours before closing time??

Lovely garden filled with little experiences for the kids. It was a little man made stream and a small area for water play. It's more suitable for young kids / toddlers, not so much for school age kids.

This is a really fun place for children and their parents providing the opportunity to get their hands dirty in a garden setting, and to play and discover the delight of plants in the natural world. The garden has been designed to intrigue, teach and excite children from a very young age about the importance of conservation and the environment. It features plants, water, structures and pathways that reflect Melbourne's changing seasons. Highly recommended.

Such a great place to show kids some great sightseeings of the beautiful nature and to share with them where does their food come from in the fruits and veggies garden

Perfect spot to bring the LOs. It is fenced, has water play, shade, and other highlights.
