Home from home It was with some trepidation that we booked into this apartment given we were looking for a short “in between” place to stay as we moved from a proper house into an apartment being built and have two small dogs. But we have been really, really pleasantly surprised by this place. It is remarkably spacious with two bedrooms, two balconies and two bathrooms and is really thoughtfully furnished, even down to the art work. So much so that we have extended our stay, twice, and it really does now feel like home even though it is rented furnished ( ie not our own choice). The place is very well equipped- in fact I can’t think of anything missing, including in the small but well stocked kitchen- and is situated in a building which is well supervised (attentive concierge) with a pool and (small) gym and is very quiet which was always a big point for us. The parking space associated with the apartment is a real bonus. The location of the building in Lonsdale street has really worked for us as it is a short walk to anywhere in the CBD, just a few minutes stroll from the beautiful Flagstaff Gardens and also public transport, tram, train or bus. There is even a supermarket a few minutes’ walk away. The managing agency has been super attentive and friendly whenever we raised a query and the regular cleaning service provided with our stay has been exceptional, especially during this COVID period! They even left us a small welcome gift in our early days which is a nice touch. So, all in all, we cannot recommend this place enough. And it is even pet friendly which is a gem hard to find in the CBD most of the time. Good on you Stay Central!!!

The place was well maintained, spacious. Stayed in a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment. I will be back to this address whenever I am back in Melbourne. The only down side is that the elevators can take quite long, be prepared for some waiting time to move up and down.

I needed to stay central for around 3mths in the Melbourne CBD due to a new job and a need to settle in to the Melbourne lifestyle. From the original inquiry to the date we moved in we had excellent service from StayCentral who were very efficient in having all admin sorted and ready to move in. The apartment is first class and the facilities such as the Gym and Pool are excellent. The location really hits the mark for seeing all that Melb has on offer. We have really enjoyed the many cafes/restaurants close by and everything is only a short walk or free tram ride in the inner CBD. The address is very close to Southern Cross Station, Victoria Markets and Southbank & Crown Casino. There are several supermarkets and shopping malls close by too. I highly recommend StayCentral to look after your needs at this excellent apartment. Thank you StayCentral.
