Tried retro spares on silver st eltham, they made me up an accelerator cable, never melted but: The end on the accelerator pedal that was silver-soldered kept braking off, went back 3 times between late 2018/2019 re-silver soldiered it, absolutely hopeless kept braking in the same spot told them time after time... 7 gruelling km home using 1st and 2nd gear with no accelerator the first time after the end broke. 2nd time found an electrical terminal cap, screwed it on to the broken end, stronger than their silver soldier \u200d️ They re-silver soldered and broke after a couple days, they're complete duds there Original & repco cables are better but slightly melted after a couple years of exposure to extractors (& I am running thermo fans, set temp & with a in car bypass switch I can turn on when ever necessary or if temp switch fails) did not help me in this situation, maybe good for some, but not me got the stuff around and left in more than one bad situation, after the 2nd visit & repair on the same cable, same issue, not fixed, no offer of solution or anything still have the cable in my lap for proof, not interested in a solution they had their chace, taking my business else where, keep the 110 i paid dont want a refund, post is staying to warn others that read it customer beware, and happy/safe motoring guys & girls
