This place makes me happy by looking the items and watching the racing and people. Lots of products are well presented and there are some people who always give you advices. Even this place is family friendly cause you can find the nappy change in the unisex bathroom. This place open to everyone, it doesn't matter whether you are rider or person passing by you can always stop and have a look what's inside. That's what make this place stand out.

The issues aren’t with Rapha Melbourne specifically, but with Rapha in general. They’d really rather you purchase your goods via their website than in one of their clubhouses. The staff here are great (and have frankly been given a raw deal by the parent company - the phrase “hung out to dry” springs to mind), the coffee is great and the service is attentive. But when there’s no stock in store (and in a store that’s, let’s face it, difficult to get to - why put a cycling clubhouse so far away from any cycling friendly areas/routes??) and the staff tell you to just buy what you want online, well, it basically defeats the purpose of having a physical location in the first place. Since the company sold to American interests you can sense a change in both attitude and garments - it all feels a little too commodified now, a little less special and a little more like they’re more interested in selling the sizzle than giving you the meal. Disappointing really as the brand had built a loyal following and produced some quality items. Now it’s like they’ll put their name to anything, mark it up by a few hundred percent and flog it off. Nobody likes being made to feel like a sucker, but Rapha have managed to sell out pretty hard and it’s difficult not to feel like you’re being taken advantage of. There’s quite literally hundreds of alternatives out their - Black Sheep, MAAP, Pas Normal Studios etc. all of whom make great kit without the drama. I will say again though - the staff here are excellent and passionate. It’s just such a shame they’re being treated like they are.
The third Rapha visited after Amsterdam and Tokyo. It was a good timing prior to Black Friday Sale but it was not a good deal as the previous two stores. Although, they served a good Cappuccino
Awesome shop. The crew are super friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to meet pre or post ride
I could not have asked for a better experience. I love this brand, and what they deliver by great product, they equally deliver in service. Especially the Melbourne store. The shop experience was second to none. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and were able to direct to me the right garments with ease. Something I find difficult purchasing online. I was dealt by Chris (and Kelly), who was understanding (of my experience and limited knowledge) incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I learnt quite a bit about wearing the right garments for the right time. Post purchase, I had an issue with sizing and it was dealt with at pace and ease. Even during the COVID crisis, the problem was solved in no time with little bother from my end. A happy customer who will gladly recommend and cannot wait to go back.
Cool place and vibes. Disappointing you can't return/exchange items bought online from their own shop. Friendly staff and quite good coffee.
Good store but one of the staff treated us like trash-They think we don’t ride bicycle and doesn’t know anything about cycling. I saw how he talked to other people, different tone than when he was talking to me and a friend. such a shame, for a respected brand. Didn’t think a brand like this would have staff like that.
Always have a great experience when I visit the store. It has a great feel with friendly and helpful staff and fantastic products!
