Beautiful and classy, getting there is a bit surreal as you walk through Myers toy section at night but it adds to the magic. The murals are beautiful and make this a great venue. It's beautifully decorated ceilings and the imperial staircase lifts the elegance to extravagant levels. The staff were fantastic and accommodating.

So, I was at an event here, of course. Beautiful space, staff were very helpful. Its awkward to find and get to however. I had to park in Lonsdale Street, which is the location that the Mural Hall website recommends. Its around a 5 minute walk, from car park to Bourke Street - Myer more walking through the Myer store itself, then up to level 6. I'll always have my flats whenever I get to an event, as I cant wear heels long, luckily for my feet Anyways, the food was good, I had a million canapes, I think thats normal? It is for me
Should not deserve 5 stars but there was a staff nicely asked to take my heavy bag
I attended a wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff were great! The food was good considering they were feeding 300 guests and atmosphere was very classy. Like stepping back into a 1950’s grand ball room! It is weird walking out the door and being in level 6 at Myers though!
My review is based on my visit during the local Melbourne Open Hosue tour - an annual event that opens up behind the scense of some often locked buildings in the city. As such, my photos and review was all about how awestruck I was about the history of the place. When and if this is opened again as part of the Melbourne open house, I highly recommend that you visit this place.
I went the Mural Hall in the Myer Building for the Seek SARA Awards dinner last night. The service was very good, except the part where one of the service tripped and dropped beer all over me and my colleague. It was his fault but offered to pay for my dry cleaning bill. Food was pretty standard, which for me being a big fella (6'2" and 100kgs) means pretty small. I'm glad I ate before I got to the venue otherwise I would have been going hungry for the whole night. The drinks on the other hand was great - my glass was never empty! Good venue overall for corporate events but if you're expecting good portions of food look elsewhere.
As a supplier, we can't speak highly enough about this venue! Their friendliness and professionalism shines through from beginning to end. Their so focused in creating the perfect event and do it so well! Definitely we will be recommending Concrete boots to our clients in future!
I've just attended a function here. I am in awe of the facilities Myer have in this building. All staff were friendly and my meal was enjoyable. Great venue.
