I had very negative views of this industry. Reece certainly proved me wrong! He is one of those "salt of the earth" genuine & empathic person's. I was adamant that one of my antique piece's not be melted down. Reece gave his word that he would try to resell it. The biggest surprise was the way he dealt with the sale. He didn't muck around trying to negotiate a low price. He simply offered a price so good I couldn't refuse. Melbourne Gold Exchange is a rare gem in a very ugly industry. 10/10

My experience with Reece at Melbourne Gold Exchange was excellent, excellent customer service, excellent pricing and excellent knowledge. I had a low premium 1 oz gold bullion cast bar I was looking to sell, and he paid me more than 200 more than the competition. Granted, the competition was scamming me, but that wasn't something I needed to be concerned about with MGE. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Reece at MGE if you want great customer service and a great deal. I called on late notice in the afternoon on a weekend and Reece took the time to see me, even though I didn't book an appointment in advance. He's very knowledgeable on the subject matter and a professional.

NOT REAL GOLD??? is what was told when i took a 3 oz gold coin to Reece. I was shocked and contacted the person who I trusted that gave me the coin as a business reward. He was certain it was real as he had bought it from a well know mint overseas. I took the coin today to a place across the road, Melbourne Gold Exchange at 227 Collins St and was shocked when he said, yep its 99.9% good after even testing it while still inside its plastic case. Then after i said I agreed, he got the giant bolt cutters out and cut the coin in half and yep... 100% legit! Like seeing a Dr, if the "opinion isn't positive".... always get a second opinion ladies & gents!

Thanks again!! I've only ever had 2 positive experiences buying/selling, the rest made me nervous and intimated. This is definitely one of the good (amazing actually) experiences. The other positive experience, funnily enough, was with a colleague/close friend of Reece. I always research days before I buy/sell and Melbourne Gold Exchange genuinely has the best rates. On top of that, the customer service is the best. If you're looking to buy/sell, of course make the effort to research BUT do yourself a favour and end with a deal with Reece. He beats any competitor and the best part is his amazing customer service comes free. Reece is definitely my go to from now on!
