Was not impressed with freshness and taste of these cupcakes. Got a pack of 6 mini ones, and only one of them was decent, the rest had a very unpleasantly textured cream, which did not taste or feel fresh. I would not recommend buying cupcakes from this shop, as it is quite pricey for what it is and there are other places in the city that sell much better and cheaper cupcakes.

Have previously had a great experience with this company through covid, and going back recently I had a very different experience. My mum and I placed an order for a birthday to be delivered in the afternoon, with a specific cupcake selection in the notes of the order due to a nut allergy and a gluten intolerance (as I did the last time). Our order arrived at 8am that morning and we had a vast array of cupcakes we did not order, including carrot and walnut, peanut butter and zero gluten free options all in the same box. I called the company straight away and they simply said that we hadn't specified and there was nothing they could do ... So disappointing and a waste of money

So good, for so many reasons. This so, so quaint little shop entices you in with its pleasing decor and tempting cupcakes on display. The store itself is tiny and barely fits 10 people but you can sit outside on the little pink tables. Here, you can watch the wonders of Degraves Street pass you by and soak up what Melbourne has to offer. Today was a ‘red velvet’ cupcake that was pure velvety heaven. The icing not overly sweet, the cupcake light as a feather. Watching people eat the pure sugary sweet donuts across the lane seemed a culinary dichotomy. The store was full with people getting their last minute desserts for the day. Service was swift and staff lovely. Even filled my water bottle with water with a smile. Not wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Short walk to Flinders Street Station. Will return.
The worst cupcakes shop u ever deal with. Had a incredible worst experience with shop. Placed an order weeks before Christmas for a party. And a When i came to pick up my order, they said i didn’t placed an order. Pulled out my receipt and then they tried to back up and said there was a little mixed up the order. No clear explanation but later on i found out (cuz I’m not the only one that didn’t get my order that day) that the shop gave everyone order to someone else the day before because someone ordered huge amounts of cupcakes. Its doesn’t make any sense since everyone ordered like a weeks before. How come they gave it to someone else. So awful. All they can do its say sorry and refunded our money but thats not even matter anymore because everyone party were ruined. NEVER buy anything from them. Trust me. Many people can confirmed this. Its not worth the hustle. The cupcakes not even that nice anymore since now they didn’t make it fresh on the day. I saw them defrosted the cupcakes that God knows how long its been in the freezer.
A wonderful little store with very friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I ordered a series of cupcakes for a gender reveal party - all of which were perfectly baked and decorated. Up a very charming (and bustling) little lane, this store is a great place to get your sugar fix! The other treats we tried were quite tasty! Recommended! Will definitely be going back.
