Very very very very poor Academic staff. They always ask to submit assignments but never mark on time. My result has been declared on 10 July, but one subject is still not graded yet. I have been sending follow up emails and trying to reach by phone call but they are not answering. Guys think about 10 times before you select college for your carrier. They replied for email which was for money but never replied for academic inquiry.

BUSINESS FOCUSED HIGHER EDUCATION PROVIDER IN CENTRAL MELBOURNE Melbourne Institute of Technology is somewhat cheekily named as it is NOT a part of the far more prestigious ROYAL Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University, nor is it related to the famous American MIT! Still, it does offer reasonable options for tertiary study, particularly in the business fields. Melbourne Institute of Technology (sorry cant bring myself to use it acronym!) is also a good options for students transferring from their diploma into a university degree at one of the established providers (eg Latrobe, RMIT, Swinburne, Victoria, etc) Most of these institutions will recognise a diploma from Melbourne Institute of Technology as equivalent to first year of their degree courses.

As a professional production company trying to work with MIT I strongly advise against getting involved. They have demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and extraordinary level of incompetence throughout the years! I feel very sorry for the students.

Reckon this is the only college which did not give a single financial support to the students at this COVID-19 pandemic time period. They have collected the full semester fees from us which they normally charge for on campus lectures, yet the entire semester was conducted through zoom sessions (via online). Most unfortunate and disturbing experience is, students who are experiencing financial difficulties to pay the outstanding uni fees are receiving emails from the finance department with a warning of COE cancellation and referring the balance to debt collection agency. Worst experience I have experienced at this hard times is from MIT. Greed for money and zero attention towards students as well as global matters.
