Best ramen I've ever had in Australia by far. Customer service is excellent. What's not to like about this place? Would recommend it to others 100%

Love the chicken ramen here! The soup here is always consistently full of flavour and the noodles are cooked to perfection. Only issue I have is that the chicken is inconsistent, it can sometimes be cooked perfectly and sometimes completely overcooked. That being said, the soup and noodles are enough for me to be satisfied and keep me as a regular.

I love the Russell St location of Hakata so I wanted to see if the quality was the same at the QV location. Unfortunately it was no match for that of Russell St. They do not serve pork, only chicken, at the QV location which does not provide the same tastiness to the ramen. It was quite bland for that reason and the pork is SO much more tender which I prefer. The Gyoza were great and I’d say the same as Russell St. I also loved the cheese Gyoza which are exclusive to the QV location. However for a quality fix of ramen I’ll be returning only to the Russell St location.

I have to say it is a little disappointing. This shop does not have the usual Japanese hospitality you have at a ramen shop. The staff weren’t greeting, just directed me to my seat in a hurry. The ramen was okay. The black garlic broth was thick and rich. I quite liked it. But for the price I feel like there is not enough abundance in the bowl. Minimum bamboo shoots. Minimum chicken. I was still hungry when I left. Such shame it didn’t love up to its name.

The black ramen tastes damn good. Staff could of been a little nicer, but the great food and atmosphere makes up for it.

It may be chicken, but it sure doesn't lose in terms of flavour! Do note that this is heavily influenced by personal preferences, but I do prefer this chicken version as it doesn't get tedious as you gobble the thing up. My only complaint is about the store itself, as the seating arrangement isn't exactly comfortable.

The restaurant is supposed to specialize in chicken ramen. Man did it let me down. The presentation was so embarrassing. Look at the layout - how ugly is it? The chicken stacked poorly, the seaweed folded over, and the bamboo shoots surrounded the egg. It’s so unappetizing. And the flavor wasn’t anything to write home about. It was a good standard chicken broth, but the egg, when cut in half, was cooked too much and looked quite old so I couldn’t even eat the other half. The chicken wasn’t special, regular boiled chicken. I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.
