GiveOUT (formerly known as The Channel Giving Circle) is an LGBTIQ+ organisation based in Melbourne, Australia. Established in 2016, in our short history we have distributed more than $150,000 in grants to LGBTIQ+ community projects, supported more than 50 LGBTIQ+ community organisations, and released the first ever Australian report on the state of LGBTIQ+ funding. We also brought GiveOUT Day to Australia for the first time in April 2019, where we successfully raised $85,000 for more than 40 LGBTIQ+ organisations across the country – in just 24 hours. We exist for two primary reasons: To facilitate and grow the GiveOUT Day fundraising platform – a national day of giving to the LGBTIQ+ community. To be a resource centre for ALL Australian LGBTIQ+ organisations – by supporting, promoting and growing the capacity of other LGBTIQ+ organisations, projects and events.
