Very friendly team & environment, informative trainers which are friendly and happy to answer questions you may have. Very good pricing for the intensity of the workout you get. They take their training seriously so you'll catch up relatively quickly fitness wise if you also take it as seriously. Just an all round great place to train! :)

I moved back to Melbourne from the US and was looking for a gym to keep training Muay Thai. I tried three gyms in the inner city and liked Dynamite the most. I trained there for a couple of months until COVID closed everything down and can't wait to go back. The space was a bit smaller than some other gyms, but the vibe was friendly, welcoming and diverse. Coaching is really excellent with lots of attention to both technique and fitness. Its a fight gym, but the classes are divided up so you have training partners with similar experience. There's a range of people training there, some looking for fitness, some to learn martial arts, and others to fight. I've also been doing privates with Coach Zia and have learnt sooooooo much. Now I just want to do sparring again :( ...

Best Muay Thai gym I have tried in Melbourne. All the coaches are deeply knowledgeable and really pay attention to both fitness and technique in a very good balance. I was training there just for a couple of months before covid and I felt like I was progressing a lot. They are really helpful and make sure that everyone is improving their skills. Everyone there also makes you feel very welcome and part of the gym, there is a nice camaraderie atmosphere and you get to know a lot of great people. Cannot wait for all this to be over and be able to go back to Dynamite.

When you start training Muay Thai, simply to learn a new skill like I did, you don't expect to gain a family. You don't expect to have your eyes opened to a beautiful culture, to gain a newfound respect for yourself, and to almost accidentally find yourself in the best shape of your life. Kru Dennis, Lily, and Yun Zia are simply some of the most wonderful people you will ever have the privilege of knowing, and having in your corner, quite literally. Make no mistake, training is serious, and you will be pushed to your limits, but you will always be under a watchful eye. In this gym, respect is earned through hard work, and dedication, not simply an exchange of money, and "being a customer". If you're reading this, and find yourself on the fence, take the leap of faith, give yourself a chance, and I promise your life will be changed for the better.

I trained there for a few months when I was in Melbourne. This is the real deal. I've trained in a few places and never found somewhere where the trainings were so hard and technical. The coaches are super knowledgeable and focused on making everybody progress, making sure you've got correct form and understand the why behind the movements instead of just copying the coach. I learnt a lot there and miss this gym since I left!

Instructors are friendly and helpful. The gym has a “homie” vibe unlike other commercial gyms. It the type of gym that you want to go back because you miss people there and the vibe. Not the kind that you feel like you have to go because you’re paying and you don’t want to waste money. Classes are technical and discipline. You’ll get a good workout, and meet awesome people.

Not a good place for beginner fitness , disorganised, I had to pay 500 or so upfront and never went back.
