In 2013 founder Stephen Donnelly brought political and cultural change to the Australian Labor Party by building an unprecedented grassroots organisation – the Community Action Network. Over the next six years the Community Action Network trained 90 field organisers to empower over 10,000 volunteers across diverse communities to have millions of values-based persuasion conversations with targeted voters in battleground seats. That mobilisation of supporters drove the historic election of Dan Andrews as Premier of Victoria in 2014 and then re-elect his Labor government in 2018. Dunn Street takes the learnings of the past six years to provide organising, training and online campaign strategies that turn big ideas into reality for businesses, progressive organisations and social democratic parties.
