I moved here in 2009, and I literally love comics. So having a plethora of store choices was great for me. However I kept coming back to Classic Comics. Yes, the store is small, but is big in heart. The guys working there are passionate. And are always willing to accommodate to anyone, anytime. So if anyone were to ask me where do they get their slice of pop culture, I'd more often than not point to Classic Comics.

Only good thing about this place is it's prices, which are good compered to most other stores around the city. I've always been lucky as they have always had what I've wanted but I have noticed that they normally don't have the issue after or before the one I've just picked up, it's normally never busy. Stuff are friendly when been served, if you are new to comics or just have any questions they can be rude. If you know what exactly your looking for and going to be in and out your experience will be fine. If looking for something more then a run in and run out experience then you should try somewhere else.

A great comic book store that will shortly be closing its doors after 25 years of business. Guiseppe, Jarrod and formerly, Luciano are great company and a fount of knowledge for anything comic book related. I've been going here for over 20 years and am going to miss them.
Little hidden gem in the side streets of Melbourne’s finest! The crew that work there friendly and jokes keep on rolling, helpful with a lot of the back issues and the current arcs.
Can't give these guys anything but 5 stars. They're well stocked and if they don't have in what you're looking for they're happy to order it. They're always happy to chat unless it's Wednesday afternoon when they're madly getting that weeks comics out. They've got a decent range of DC/Marvel action figures and boardgames to buy as well.
Excellent back issue selection, decent prices & super friendly manager. A great, old fashioned comic shop - wish I could go back!
Store has been closed for good. Go to comics r ud on 220 Bourke Street, well worth a visit.
