Wish I read the reviews for Birthday Packages prior to booking. I contacted Bond management via email and after several emails, we had decided to opt for Birthday Guest List which includes free entry prior to 10pm and post 10pm it'll be 20. This option suited us perfectly as we had made it clear with Bond management team that we've got about 25-30 people and will be looking to spend some money that night. We had it in writing from the management team that all necessary arrangements had been done and they were looking forward to us. Upon arriving to the venue, this is where all things went downhill. Upon arrival, the bouncers outside said quite rudely "tables only, guest list is not a guaranteed entry, you won't get in". It was extremely disappointing provided we had discussed at length with the Bond Management about our event and the bouncers simply refused entry regardless of our conversation with Management. In addition, the bouncers even had the audacity to say "you can stand wherever you want, you and your group won't get in" which was a bit more of a double standard as some of our friends had already managed to get inside Bond, without any table booking, without any guest list and they were not a person of colour. This surely isn't a coincidence when you compare this event and review to some of the other reviews listed below. Safe to say, not only did they lose our business that night (at least 3-4k) but they've also lost the ability to market themselves as a premier place for "everyone". This is not a fake review, happy to provide written email communication from Bond Management and other testimonies from people. To all people thinking of attending this place for a special event, please consider this and all previous emails as a warning as the last thing you want is for the Bond Melbourne to ruin your night like they did mine and other 30 people that night.

Extremely racist place with no sense of dignity. Was refused entry despite having a guest list just because of our skin colour. If you want a good time go somewhere else as you’re not gonna find it here. Lost valuable business over skin colour what a joke.
I had an experience which can only be explained as racist or the bouncers being on a power trip. I am brown skinned was dressed in a polo with a denim jacket and black chinos with black nike's. I was denied entry as my shoes were too casual yet several people ahead of me were allowed in wearing white nikes, trainers and sneakers. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Quite a hoot, mainly drinking ventures, too many packed bodies to dance comfortably. Neon highlights & boucey tunes layer a veneer of classiness...
This is the worst club ive been to. Staff are extremely racist. We overheard the bouncers actually commenting on our skin colour and nationality. I had a birthday guestlist booked in but they refused to let us in just because me and my friends were brown. When we finally got in after waiting an hour on the street, they made us pay for the entry as it was after 10pm and so the free birthday package wouldn't apply anymore. Anyhow we ended up leaving as the place was way too overcrowded and the bartenders were sooo rude. Horrible experience....would never recommend.
This place is a ripoff. We've paid 550 for a booth for 5 hours from 12am until 5am, had to wait around 30 mins until our drinks were brought to the table. We had a waitress allocated to our table who was serving us all the drinks. A guy on the table next to ours was so drunk he was sleeping on the table and the staff did nothing to remove him. Club was packed, i'm not even sure how they are allowed to do it and still be COVID-safe! I went outside to get some fresh air around 2am only to be told I can't get back in the club. Security was really rude. So the club basically charged us money for 5 hours but prevented us from using it for the whole duration. Contacted management about this issue a number of times, no reply. I'm considering taking them to VCAT. Definitely will not go to this club again.
