This place never fails to disappoint. The drinks list is wide and extensive, but I recommend going for one of the boilermakers; the one I had was the Trademark Turquoise and it was a fantastic pairing. The staff are helpful with suggestions. The food can be a bit of a hit n’ miss. The general vibe and atmosphere is warm and chilled.

Stumbled upon this place between theatre sessions and loved the ambiance, friendly staff and great drink choices. A filling ploughman's platter completed a lovely evening in one of Melbourne's hidden gems. A full menu was beginning last weekend so I can't wait to go back and check it out!

Rustic setting, curtained seating booths and snappily dressed bar staff, you sure will feel like you've stepped back in time to the 19th century. Experience a signature from the drinks list, traditionally a nip of whisky and beer, with the selection of cured meats and cheese. Fit out is nothing short of amazing. Brilliant service friendly staff and chilled vibes here

We had phenomenal (truly above average) service in terms of seating time, drinks being full, and friendly and knowledgeable patrons. The manager Ellen was extremely skilled at keeping the crowds at bay and the staff in good spirits. We had a great time and will absolutely return.

Beers were okay, whisky range better than beers. Food not bad. Atmosphere lovely, but not well suited for couples. Too many high bench options versus tables. Inability to book a table for groups less than 4 is a massive disappointment. Assumed target market feels outdated.

This place is amazing! Staff were all super knowledgeable and helpful and finding the best suit to your personal tastes, whether that was beer, whiskey, cheese or meats! We got the Ploughman's platter, 2 cocktails and a suggested whiskey and we were super satisfied with everything... I will be back :)

The website shows a proper food menu . Upon arriving for a booking, the only food being served is meat and cheese platters. It was disappointing as we had to leave the venue early to try and find dinner. The Birthday booking was pretty much ruined and so was dinner as restaurants were booked up . Cocktails were good but doesn't get away from the fact that the online food menu needs to be updated as it misled a big group booking who were prepared to spend a lot on drinks and dinner..An absolute waste of a booking.

Great choice of liquor but table service needs to get a lot faster.
