A great way to buy power if you're willing to watch what the price is doing and alter your usage depending on the cost. Very easy to monitor the current and projected pricing in the App or website. So far we have reduced our daily cost by more than 20% and that was from a cheap prior plan. Autumn and I assume Winter is very different in pricing cycles so we'll see how that works out.

Take back the power, quite literally. Amber provides a transparent and efficient pricing model that allows you to have much better control over your electricity bill. Their customer service is always helpful, friendly and responsive. Easily the best electricity retailer I've dealt with, ever.

They politely asked me to write a post so here we are. Do not hesitate to sign up for the Amber waiting list, it only took me about 2 weeks to be on board and the transition I didn't even notice until I got the email confirming it. They are very open with their communication and pricing, and I have never saved so much money. This is not a fake review, legitimately impressed.

The connection process is easy. Amber walk you through the steps (although changeover is not immediate). An app is available for smart phones which gives me current and forecast prices (as well as historic daily cost). The app has a user preset to alert me when prices exceed a threshold value. This allows users to consume less power during high price periods, which helps balance the overall load.

I can't recommend Amber enough! So glad I got in early with this amazing company when they first started up. These guys are at the forefront of shaking up the energy market (that has been ripping off consumers for years) providing fair prices and insight into the best times to use electricity to save money and lessen our footprint. Amber is Amazing! My advice, get on the waiting list to change to Amber now, it is super easy to change, and you won't regret it.

I use Amber for two months with Smart Meter installed but it turns out to that Amber forget to disconnect from my previous provider. I pay twice bills for the same period to 2 providers at the same time. And amber's email reply is quite slow. Now I have no electricity at home. very bad experience.

Switching to Amber Electric has been the best decision I made in a long time. Before that I was going back and forth between various retailers and it has been a nightmare with constantly comparing prices and "better deals" as soon as I wanted to switch to another company. None of them could compare to what Amber has to offer! I am so glad I found Amber and cannot recommend them high enough. I have told all my family and friends about them as well and will keep on recommending!!!

So far the experience has been far from good. Amber were super quick getting my transfer and meter read from the old retailer completed and then the delays started. My smart meter took close to six weeks to install which I had to keep following up. Now that has been installed, nothing has changed on my end and I have sent multiple emails to the support team asking for more information. I have absolutely no idea what my usage has been for the past week. I get better response from my old retailer for a fraction of a cost higher. All I am asking is a quicker response so I can actually do what I have signed up for. At this point, I am not going to be recommending Amber to anyone.
