Virgin are usually very good, but this was the worst ever! After nearly an hour, my order still hadn't arrived (a coffee and sandwich). I heard at least 5 other people say the same thing and many others chasing up orders. They need to review their system as it is not working!

The temporary lounge (in the virgin club), is much nicer than the normal lounge. Food and drinks (mainly cold and pre packed food - very fast and covid safe) are ordered via a QR code on each table. Good selection of sandwiches, sweet snacks (muffins, trail mix, brownies etc), beer, wine, tea and coffee. Entry with an Amex platinum charge card was smooth (as always). Lounge is outside of security so allow another 10 minutes to get to your gate from the lounge.

First flight in one year almost to the day! Virgin have done a great job adapting the lounge experience. We now order via a qr code and it is delivered to your table. For those concerned social distancing has been well thought out. Well done Virgin. So happy to be back flying with you ️️️

Terrible service, clearly just using COVID as an excuse to slow down service and save money. Waited a very long time for our order only to find they would only bring one alcoholic drink per order (my partner had ordered for both of us). We then waited about another half hour for our next order which was only brought over after I went and checked where it was about 2 minutes before we had to leave to board our flight. The food options were not great either. I understand the airlines have had a tough year but this was almost not even worth the visit.

Disappointed experience. I understand that COVID has made business impossible. But it’s been a year now and sometimes it feels like business decisions are using it as an excuse to actually deliver a good experience. Today we finally took a trip that has been postponed so many times, and we decided to treat ourselves arriving earlier to the airport to enjoy a nice breakfast at the Virgin Australia Lounge. After 15 minutes, we are still waiting for an order that could have been delivered in less than 5 minutes. Nothing to brag about. Apples, a pre-packed sandwich (similar to the ones you get in seven eleven) and coffee. If I had known that the menu was so poor, I wouldn’t have waisted my voucher. The place is under staffed and the app to order from your table is cumbersome and when you think you’ve placed your order there is another step very easily missed so our order was never placed. Many of the items in the menu are sold out. Come on, you just need to bring more cold sandwiches from any plane. You don’t even need to prepare anything! I think we will leave the lounge before we even get our “meals”. Update: our sandwiches just arrived ! 30 minutes. A french restaurant is faster! And the PA is telling us out flight is commencing to board!

Revamped Adelaide Airport is lovely. Once it's completely finished it's going to be fantastic! So many choices

Hostesses were ok, products poor. Would not provide a fork so o could eat cheese and tomatoes so embarrassingly had to use my fingers.

Temporary Lounge. Really beautiful space and food took less that 10 minutes to arrive after ordering. Really good passenger service. Thanks for the warm welcome VA. ️
