So cool for image and film story!! Nice exhibition for free and enjoy so many funny things at here. The exhibition has done a good job of interactivity, and the audience can participate in the project.
It's great to see ACMI open again after so many months. The new facility features plenty of exhibits, some familiar and some new, all with a built in "lens" feature to help visitors keep track of what interests them. You can easily spend hours here so make sure you plan you day out accordingly. Highly recommended for any age group, on any day.
It’s free and it’s a must visit especially if you like film and imagery. Newly renovated which looks awesome but the only thing that I really loved about the old ACMI was that they had old school games like space invaders- is there any chance this game and other can return? PAC Mac made the cut and the line to play that is long. Take a look at my Instagram and TikTok for more.
This museum is absolutely captivating. Definitely go if you are one that loves cinema, Vfx and game design. Great mix of representation too.
Has gone through quite the revamp, super modern and soaked in glam. The interactive scanning disc adds another layer to your experience. You can find a copy of Konami's The Simpsons, sidescrolling beat 'em up game here too. However, the show piece is still the Mad Max V8 Interceptor replica.
The updated ACMI is really excellent. I love the interactivity of the exhibits which are great for both adults and children. This is definitely one of my favourite museum experiences of the past year.
They've really upped their game since they closed over the past year or so providing an amazing FREE experience you can explore for hours. Not only that but now they give you cards that save your favourite exhibits to take home and learn more about which made the experience so much longer lasting and interactive (unsurprising from ACMI I know.) Of course to top it all off staff were so lovely and seemed to genuinely adore the museum and love sharing it with the general public. Easy 5 stars!!! : D
