Meisha Mosaics introduced me to Van Gogh glass (vGg) and I am eternally grateful! The vGg range can enhance mosaic design on a number of counts: 1. The seamless, multi-directional patterns allow for great subtlety in the transition from one area of a mosaic to another. 2. Texture is built into the Sparkle Rain range. There is a much greater quality of depth in vGg compared with cheaply manufactured tesserae that produces coats of glass over paper prints. 3. The smooth profile of vGg not only makes for easy cutting. I can assure even those who have recently discovered mosaic that vGg definitely delivers on its promise of ease, and, importantly, a smooth result when grouting. 4. My overall satisfaction with vGg is high due to the ease of being able to quickly realise an integrated design in mosaic "sketches". Using black and gold Sparkle Rain, I fabricated the bee in under 30 minutes. After allowing the mosaic to cure for 24hrs, grouting was also done in under 30 minutes. Thanks to Meisha Mosaics' on-line shop, a new level of productivity is emerging.
