There is a Medicare Android app - can view history, lodge claims etc. They are now officially called 'Services Australia' - I expect that change to take years to fully take effect, given many people still call them Centrelink / Medicare
Based on my expreince on 29th August, I had an excellent service with super friendly staff and beautiful waiting lounge. Thank you!

Don't bother coming in after 4pm they won't do anything after
They seemed to dislike their job. The female staff didn’t listen my enquiry well She just wanted to finish my enquiry. I waited for her over 40 minutes but my enquiry was finished within 5 seconds.
Although everyone appears quite polite I am utterly confused. I was told to go on MyGov, which I did. MyGov informed me that I could not claim online for this particular Item No. and that I had to go personally into a Centrelink Office to lodge my claim. This I did. At my local Centrelink Office, I was told that I could not claim for this particular item number at a Centrelink Office and that I should do it online. So, I can't do it online and I cannot do it at a Centrelink Office. The company is baying for my blood and not one single, government person knows what to do. What mockery is this? Why do you hate us this much? I am totally perplexed and flummoxed.
Always slow to check in ,if you ever tried to get medicare or do something count on a long wait And after waiting they did not resolve my issue and had to come back again and wait for a long time again
