I would rate ME as less than one star if possible. They need to buy a calendar or at least be educated in its use. Dates mean nothing to them. For home loans they decide on dates well after settlement dates provided for no other reason than they can't actually read the documents you send in. My first settlement with this was 90 days and they kept saying that the settlement was on the 13th not the 3rd that all the documentation provides stated. After 7 hours on the phone with them I finally got someone to admit that the documentation was indeed the 3rd and they would move settlement forward. Trying to discharge this home loan they decide on a date after the settlement for the new property despite it being a month after the expected discharge date. They refuse to move it quoting "we are to busy to handle your request" despite the fact that this will shift the costs of settling late onto me. The call centre staff give you the wrong information, and it is impossible to get onto the phone to any other department to actually get an answer or help. Stay away!!!! They are a terrible customer experience.

Stay away from them, not a serious bank in any way shape or form. They accept settlement dates that then cancel at last minute thanks to their incompetence and then refuse to acknowledge their mistakes.

Been with Me bank for 6 years. Never had a drama. Easy to deal with. I am happy with the rates. They are an online bank. They don't hide it. They don't have branches and I've never found this to be an issue at all. They are easy to contact, and have always sorted out my issues. I'd rather give my money over to a bank that puts profits back into our super funds. Fairly simple.

Held up a loan to buy a house for 2 months! as a second mortgage from guarantor, would not speak to the other bank, nor complete basic documents to facilitate the loan - horrible experience.

Ditto to most of the negative reviews left. Service is non existent, products are terrible. Everything is made difficult when dealing with them. Steer clear! Definitely a bank for them

Abysmal service. Very unprofessional, and, during Covid times, their customer service has gone even further backwards! Messages and emails unanswered, lengthy waits on the phone with no result. What is the use of having low interest rates, if you are unable to be contacted?! Most of the big banks match those rates anyway, and provide a far better service. Steer clear of this bank.
