I recently had the opportunity to be involved in an Art Exhibtion, at Studio 281, on Guildford Road in Maylands. I had such a wonderful night. The people and the vibes were phenomenal. Its been a long time, since Covid 19, I have felt unity, support and culture in a room.
Interesting and good local artists regularly displayed, as well as a hairdresser out back, and picture framing. Large step at front door.
I took an old print in to have the frame repaired. Not only did Leo fix the frame, he offered to touch up the scratches and gave the print a good clean. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who actually cares about every job he does! And it’s worth mentioning, Leo is a busy man, and well known for hosting some great artists yet he still made the time to help me with my very modest piece. Legend!
