Always at great time at Henry on Eighth! Consistently tasty food, cosy ambience, and attentive, welcoming staff. The cocktails are definitely worth checking out as is the ever-changing selection of beers. A real highlight of Maylands and WA bars in general.

Yummy food, wine selection was great too. The Riesling is my favourite. It took a bit of time to get water to the table and order to be taken, but I think that is because only one staff member was assigned the ground floor for their section, however, our waitress was friendly and was really great despite being run off her feet being a floor server, runner and host/seeing to front door/bookings. Will definitely come by again. Might try their gin selection next :)
The staff are always incredible. The owner goes out of his way to say g'day every time; and the table service is amazing. Fantastic atmosphere - been multiple times and leave absolutely stoked. Ripper spot. Be sure to catch the acoustic!
Henry's is the best local bar you could hope for. The food is always delicious, they have a good range of drinks to choose from, and the staff are all absolute gems. I've been here frequently over the past year and have never had a bad experience. 11/10 will always recommend.
Had a lovely evening here celebrating a birthday. Burgers were fantastic, great choice of wines, and a really interesting looking selection of small sharing plates on offer (though we haven't tried any yet, we're assured by friends that they're great). Admittedly the fries were too salty, but once we pointed it out they agreed and took them off the bill, so that was well handled. They've got a selection of board games to play, and it's a great atmosphere. We'll be back for sure.

The Maylands strip wouldn't be the same without Henry on 8th! Over the years I've been dropping past you still get the vibe that this little gem is run by locals who really care about giving you the best food & beve experience with such a relaxed vibe cheers
