Fantastic place to purchase containers from. I got 4 prices and Port Shipping was the cheapest. I was able to arrange delivery around a date that would suit access to our property and best of all we asked for 2 of the same colour and got 2 of the same could. When we need more we will definitely come to Port Shipping to get them :)

Having had the new Site Office container made for me by Port Shipping, has been a exciting process and the result has been great. Having had it for a short while now, mostly what I can appreciate is the neat paint work, repairs and door and window metal fitting. I look forward to having a mobile work space to research, develop and even relax in, that has solid bones and elegant simple functionality. Thank you for the communication during the process and a picture of the finished product. I will endorse Port Shipping to friends, as I feel you offer a thorough service. I am very happy with the process. Wayne was excellent to deal with, I had complete piece of mind. The truck driver Brain has to rate a 15 out of 10 for his communication and delivery skills. Kind regards Philip Webb.

I've had such a poor customer experience like this before but I feel it's important to warn future buyers. I was told I would have a quote for used containers including specified Hiab transport for an agreed price on the phonr. The quote never came so the next day (less than 24 hours) I called again and the sales person forgot to send it. But apparently by then the prices had changed. And the best price that the team could do was over 800 more than the original price. As penance, the person "promised" to personally inspect the containers himself even though they live over 3 hours away from the yard where the containers would come from. First indicator of possible foul play. For whatever reason the Hiab transport was suddenly only a sideloader which was specially told would not suit the site requirements. It took days to resolve and negotiate until the Hiab was secured. Second indicator. On the day of transport I was already en route to the site, only to be told the containers were not available from the yard and the transport vehicles were told to turn around. This was very odd as I would think the stock was secured before the logistics were finalised. They were all mismatching as well so that made it hard for consistent modification. Third indicator. When the rescheduled date came around, the containers arrived and they were probably the worst containers they could find. There was obvious warping on the corners and rails so they did not sit flush side by side. Final indicator. The transport companies that were sub contracted seemed to be aware of port shipping containers poor reputation and mentioned that to me on the side. Obviously it was too late for me, they had taken my money. There was very little genuine apology or compensation offered by the company as well. Overall a very disappointing outcome.

I got a quote, was happy with the quote so paid for it and booked it in. I rang a few times and emailed to make sure they had been delivered. No response. I then drove 1000km to pack up everything into the containers that were supposedly onsite 5 days earlier. Get there, not on site. Because I had to vacate the property (a winery) that weekend, I then had to hire a truck and move everything to multiple locations. I ring up and cancel the containers as they weren’t delivered the week prior as promised. They try and smooth things over offer to have them delivered by 8:30am next morning. I had to return the truck at 9am. Of course they were late and I had to book the truck another day. I ask for a reduction in the delivery costs as there are multiple containers being delivered and the delivery address is now 50km closer. It is agreed to in writing however after over a month is still not paid. Alex was the sales person. Multiple “I’ll call you back in half an hour” and not returned the call. Offered reduction on deliver but didn’t refund it. Multiple times failed to deliver the containers when they said they would. All up, I’m around 13,000 out of pocket in additional transport, storage and damages costs because they didn’t deliver what they said they would. Would NEVER recommend this business.
