Do not even bother with Maurice and Blackburn- Corporate greed exists here and if they cannot make a dollar then you are completely dismissed even though you know there is a case. Treatment of myself was abhorrent. I just wanted a real answer. Totally hypocritically of the equivocate advertising while on hold- " We Fight for Fair!'

Terrible. Called for an assessment of a product liability claim which resulted in loss of sight. Had a junior paralegal call back to just say “thanks for the call but we won’t take your case”. Asked for a reason why but refused to discuss and said this was policy. As a solicitor who has worked in PI in the past and has conducted similar assessment of cases, the customer service is beyond appalling. Our paralegals were at least able to a brief outline why a case would not be supported. Maybe the loss wasn’t significant enough, the case more likely than not to not succeed etc. Just to be told no we aren’t interested is incredibly poor and not a service we provided to potential clients. The paralegal also refused to give his full name saying this was policy so I was unable to make a complaint.
I highly recommend Maurice Blackburn to assist anyone seeking representation. From the initial meeting through to the final successful outcome, Sean Behringer was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate to both the task and our family and always kind.
