I had two auto accidents that led to surgery and other psychological problems. The insurance commission settled with an amount that I thought was grossly unfair. I tried to get them to reason with them to increase it but it didn't work so I spoke to several legal entities to see how they could help. To be frank, I didn't want to deal with a big firm at all but in the end, I chose Maurice Blackburn - just from intuition, and I'm so glad I did. Was one of the best decisions I made. It was so, so easy dealing with Chantelle and her crew. Very professional and friendly - I am not kidding. Very easy to reach and they responded promptly to all my queries throughout my dealings with them. There was absolutely no hassle - just had to give them whatever information they requested. The best part of it all was that they got me three-and-a-half times the amount the insurance commission initially offered. My little boy was also involved in the accident. I'm so happy with Chantelle and Maurice and Blackburn that I've asked them to handle his case as well. I recommend them highly. You will not regret dealing with them, trust me.

I had a back injury in August 2017. After searching for lawyers I decided on Maurice Blackburn and was given Helen Parker, after our initial phone consultation I was made to feel I had a strong case and it would all be resolved. Fastforward nearly 2 months and we went to conciliation. On the morning of the conciliation I met her and she basically told me I had no case as I had not proven my case enough. She did nothing in that 2 month period to suggest this or to offer any advice on how to put myself in a better position to fight the case. Just a money grabbing organisation who does not care about their clients or the basic ethics of right and wrong. My advice is to avoid Maurice Blackburn, the whole process was terrible and I wouldn't want anybody else to have to go through the pain I have as a result of their negligence.
