Notes On This

Avoid at all costs. At least one of the longer term doctors here refuses to believe patients. "That's impossible." Refused to verify the reaction, and dismissed it. I read the science when I got home. He found an unrelated surgery over a decade ago that I had no interest in (they ask about former surgeries), and claimed that it caused emotionality a decade later. Disregarded sudden vomiting, low blood sugar, being suddenly unable to stand after having received an injection at the doctor's. Refused to contact the doctor to verify it. Raised his voice asking me over and over what else had been taken. As many other reviewers on Yelp also experienced. I've never taken an illicit substance in my life. I asked to see a different doctor and he refused. Apparently in his culture emotionality relates to questioning what his reasoning is on giving wanting the drugs he is giving. Which obviously had no bearing on what was actually happening. Failed to read the ambulance report. Either this doctor worked 120 hours this week or is sociopathic. Neither is acceptable. Disgusting. He is a danger.

What has happened to the compassion that health workers used to have. My grown daughter who suffers with anxiety was in this hospital for a severe reaction to a strong antibiotics 24hrs after she has been admitted she still hasn't been given anything for the pain the swelling or the itch. They gave her 2 blood tests chest xray mouth xray but still wasn't told what was happening and still no t reatment for the symptoms that she was in there fore. Needless to say she had an anxiety arrack. Maybe if the staff told her what was going on or even bothered to see how she was coping this wouldn't have happened. I used to rate this hospital but not any more. Caring medical staff are rare.

The staff at the Adult emergency department are literally wonderful ... they were friendly and cheerful .. thanks to all the doctors and nurses.

Waited over 6 hours to get a stab wound to the leg treated. We couldn't stop the bleeding. On what seemed to be an average night (less than 10 people), there really appears to be a shortage of staff or efficiencies in the evening hours.

My wife fell and broke her wrist. We arrived at 8.00 am saw a nurse straight away, then ice and an exray. Displaced fracture confirmed the Dr came put it in then the plaster. Another exray. All done by 10. Really great.
