During the COVID 19 restrictions my wife and I were able to successfully connect with Steve using the video chat service from Zoom and these personal training sessions have really been helpful. These sessions have kept us moving and improved our strength and flexibility plus it has been a real encouragement to us to finally be able to return to face to face sessions, albeit temporarily interrupted. We are in our senior years now and Steve had tailored our training program to our current capabilities and he is gradually challenging us to do better and, without realising it, that is exactly what is happening. We would also recommend that you use Steve as “your” personal trainer, for any age group or fitness level, and thank you Steve for looking after us.

Sensei Stephen is very knowledgeable and will cater for individual and group requirements. I’ve been training here for a few years and highly recommend it to everyone.

Being an adult, and never having done kickboxing or any martial arts before in the past, it was a little daunting starting up kickboxing at first. Stephen was very understanding of my fitness level, which needed some work! I was always pushed to reach my best potential, but with my capabilities in mind. I can say now that I am fit, able and confident kickboxer who loves sparring. I would highly rate this dojo!

I've been a student of Sensei Stephen Castle since 2014, I've learned a great deal through his teachings of the self defensive skills and also of taking care of myself bodywise and been put in the right mindset. I've also developed friendships with fellow students through this time.Sensei Steve is great with younger students, you can see how excited they are to be training under him as well and the older students like myself and show him absolute loyalty and respect. This Dojo is where not only you learn about the fighting skills but you learn about yourself mind, body and spirit.
